Yerevan Tourist Information Center
Uniting priority to providing tourists and citizens of Yerevan with proper information Yerevan Municipality launched touristic information support and citizens’ service centers in Yerevan in 2018.
The first touristic information center was opened at 2/1 Nalbandyan avenue, in the park neighboring Republic square metro station. The second one is located at 2/5 Baghramyan avenue. The activity of the mentioned centers is coordinated and managed by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Yerevan Municipality.
The aim of the info-centers is to help to the citizens and guests of the capital providing them with information regarding the city’s touristic infrastructures, and the services suggested by the Municipality. The visitors are provided with free multi-language maps of Yerevan, guidebooks, and info leaflets with the knowledge about the municipal museums, the Yerevan Zoo, the excursions provided by Yerevan City Tour, as well as the e-services suggested by the Municipality of Yerevan, the schedule of citizens’ receptions, and the “hotline” service.
The mentioned info- centers work by the following schedule:
The centre nearby Republic square” metro station
• May-October-Monday-Saturday, from 19:00 till 21:00,
• November-April-Monday-Saturday, from 10:00 till 20:00
The centre “Square of France” at 2/5 Baghramyan avenue
• May-October, Monday-Saturday, from 10:00 till 22:00
• November-April-Monday-Saturday, from 10:00 till 20:00.
The employees of the center are willing to provide guests of the capital and citizens with the necessary information in foreign languages as well.
In 2018 the centers served nearly 21000 visitors from 73 countries.
In 2019 the centers served 37344 visitors from 75 countries.
